The UCI UCPath technical team has been sharing our product and experience with other UC campuses and locations. Sushma Pulluri and Khader Abdul, business intelligence/data warehouse specialists, provided the tool we are using - UCI Informatica Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) packages - for loading the Operational Data Store (ODS) to both UC Davis and UC San Diego and provided walkthroughs to explain the process. We have also agreed to continue to supply UCSD with ETL updates with each ODS version upgrade.
Tony Toyofuku, lead integration developer, shared the code package and documentation for our real-time UCPath integration with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). Jip Muongpruan, Tier-1 lead, provided an overview of Tier-1 support and Managed File Transfer (MFT) to UC Hastings.
Over the past years, the UCI team has worked hard to develop and test these integration solutions and we are happy to be able to share them with other Deployment 1 and Deployment 2 locations.
We believe these tools will allow other locations to leverage UCI’s efforts and accelerate their UCPath implementation. These sharing efforts will also help create future opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
