 Other Updates & Reminders:

  • Off-Cycle Dashboard: The link to access the off-cycle dashboard has been added to Quicklinks and removed from Payroll Resources.
  • UCPath Forms Library: The Declaration of Tax Dependency UPay 886 form has been added under Employee Benefits. Use the form to certify that your domestic partner, your domestic partner’s children and/or your domestic partner’s grandchildren are tax dependents in accordance with IRS regulations if they are enrolled in your UC benefits.
  • Open Enrollment:
  • The open enrollment webinar flyer is available and searchable in UCPath.
    • Open enrollment will start Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 8 a.m. and end Friday, November 19, 2021, at 5 p.m.
  • Training: Navigate to UCPath > Help > Location Users to access recently updated training materials:
    • Payroll (PAYL200: Additional Compensation and Payroll Requests):
      • Job Aid: Off-cycle Dashboard
        • Updated the job aid to include new E078 and interface file functionality
    • Workforce Administration (WFA215: Mass Hires):
      • Job Aid: Complete the CSV File Templates for Mass Hires
        • Updated job aid descriptions for STEP, COMP_FREQUENCY and COMP_RATECD and changed label of Tracker ID to Tracker Profile ID

Did You Know?  Changes made to job and position can cause employees to lose benefits.

  • The Cognos report: Benefit Termination Report (R-064) is available for locations to use to identify employees who recently had a benefit change
  • Previously-eligible employees will appear on the report if their coverage is terminated - based on the current effective dated row compared to the previous effective date in UCPath benefits
  • The report can be run by business unit, department, org, pay status and date range
  • Locations should review this report regularly to identify employees who should not have lost benefits
  • If an employee is identified who should not have lost benefits, review and update (as appropriate) key job and position data fields as outlined in the Benefit Triggers Job Aid
