Modified UCPath to no longer allow a dependent spouse/domestic partner to enroll in life insurance when a PIE is triggered by the birth or adoption of a child. Per policy, the birth or adoption of a child should only allow enrollment of the newly eligible child, plus any other dependent children not already enrolled.

  • Beginning February 7, some validations previously done manually by UCPath will be automated and included in the E-10 error reports (reference JIRA UCP-92326). Based on this change, three new error messages may display on the E-10 error reports:
    • Shift differential code is not valid for employees’ position.
    • Earnings not within a valid available pay calendar.
    • Use applicable earnings begin and end dates by PPE week (for BW) or PPE month (for MO).
    • The E-10 Location Error Reporting Resolution Job Aid has been updated with details.
  • The 2021 UCPath Production Processing Schedule V 01.26.21 has been updated with the following changes:
    • Revised 211231M0X check date from 1/4/22 to 1/3/22
    • Revised Winter Holidays to 12/23/21 & 12/24/21
    • Revised the following 211231M0X processing dates from 12/23/21 to 12/27/21 due to the holiday
      • Stop Processing PayPath & Position Mngt
      • Location Corrections (Campus & Med Center)
    • Navigate to UCPath > Quicklinks > Payroll Resources, and select Payroll Processing Schedules & Working Hours to access the schedule.
  • Quicklinks has been updated with the 2021 retirement savings program (RSP) Enrollment / change effective dates Quicklinks > Benefits Resources
  • Training: UCPath updated the following training materials:
    • Payroll (PAYL200: Additional Compensation and Payroll Requests):
      • Job Aid: Offcycle Dashboard
        • Updated to include new Details page and updates to the Summary Page.
