Updated the Earnings by Pay Period report (R-269) with a new "Interface" report type. The "Interface" report type can be used to create the "Month to Month Record of Earnings" required by CalHR when a former employee is requesting service credit. Former employees should submit the "Verification of Total State Service" form to UCPath requesting the report. UCPath will reach out to the location if assistance is required to obtain legacy PPS information. |

- Workforce Administration (WFAL270: PayPath Transactions):
Did You Know? Promotions with a pay increase should not be submitted on the same transaction.
- The position should be promoted first and a separate action should be submitted for the pay increase with the appropriate action / reason.
- Why? Compensation does not link to position changes.
- If the job code or FLSA status changes, position information will be updated on job data and compensation data will be carried forward from the old job.
- A second transaction is required to ensure the compensation aligns with the position update.
- Submitting the requests as one transaction can cause incorrect data including pay issues:
- Example: if a position is reclassified and the employee is going from non-exempt to exempt pay, the hourly comp rate will carry forward on the position row and the employee’s pay will not be updated appropriately
